Location -

Salobrena is located between Almunecar and Motril. The jewel of the Costa Tropical, Salobrena, is a whitewashed township clinging to huge lump of rock just back from the shoreline, topped by a Moorish castle and surrounded by lush sugar cane plantations.

Salobrena is about one hour drive from Malaga, 45 minutes from Granada, and just over an hour to the Sierra Nevada mountains. Salobrena is also ideally situated for exploring the Las Alpujarras, some forty minutes away. From October to April, you could be in the happy position of being able to ski during the day and return to sunbathe on Salobrena's long, clean beach in the evening.

Directions -

From Malaga Airport to Salobrena -

(Approximately 103 km, 1h)

Follow the signs to Malaga and Cadiz and within a few miles you will be making a turn onto the N340.

Follow the signs to Motril ( E15 and N340 ); later sign-posted ALMERIA.

Stay on the N340 all the way until you reach Salobrena Exit. Actually the N-340 ends there.

Follow the road down the hill and turn left at the lights into the Inmobilaria Lingwoods parking area. It is here that you will be met by Jeanette and are taken to the villa.

From Granada Airport to Salobrena -

(Approximately 89 km, 50min)

Leaving the airport, keep heading towards Granada until you see a signpost for Almeria, and Motril.
Take 323 heading south from Granada towards Motril. You will eventually come to a roundabout with Motril sign- posted left (340) and Malaga signposted right (340). Turn right here and continue past the turn-off to Salobrena.
The road sweeps up over a hill. Continue on for approx. 3 minutes, you will see Inmobilaria Lingwoods (a real estate office) on your right. Turn right here and wait for Jeanette.

From Almeria Airport to Salobrenia -

(Approximately 131 km, 1h31min)
From the airport to the E-15 all the way until you reach Salobrena. The road sweeps up over a hill. Continue on for approx. 3 minutes, you will see Inmobilaria Lingwoods (a real estate office) on your right. Turn right here and wait for Jeanette.

The best way to reach Villa Renna is by renting a car, and it is essential to have one for your visit so you can explore the area.
